Again.

One day, someone might do something more drastic than just taking photos like I did.

Will the traffic police give a summon for this?

AK71 said...

Hi Garfield,

The Traffic Police can only take action if it is a traffic offence.

In this case, HDB could issue a summon but this car park has been privatised. -.-

Garfield75 said...

ok, complain to MCST....then buy 4D, this Wednesday and hopefully you strike :).

AK71 said...

Hi Garfield,

No MCST. :(

The units in the surrounding buildings are leased out by HDB to individual companies and the car park is leased out to the highest bidder. I think the car park operator is Ragu or Raju or something. Sigh.

If the granny from Allo Allo were here, she would spit on the car!

Sir, you should take a picture, put it on Stomp and shame the person.

Leave a note on the windscreen. :)

mighty_matt said...

My conclusion: S/he is the one that won the bid and is operating the car park now. :D

Or else s/he must have wrongly applied the '3 seconds rule' for safe distance between cars when parking.

AK71 said...

Hi blauereiter,

You are welcome to take these photos from my blog and send them to STOMP. I have never done it before. Thank you very much. 8)

AK71 said...

Hi INVS 2.0,

Better not. Later say I scratched his car or something.

When people are inconsiderate drivers, there is a good chance that they are unsavoury in other aspects as well.

AK71 said...

Hi Matt,

This driver is a he. I have seen him once before entering his car. Probably in his mid or late 50s. Inconsiderate driver.

Dress up in dirty jeans or shorts with a large screwdriver highly visible in the back pocket. ( in other words, dress abnormally from your usual )

Mess up your hair, wear sunglasses.
Wait by the car.
When driver appears, speak in hokkien:

" tau kay ah?, ay pie par chia, par ho say.
oi sai buay?"

Then walk away.. do not wait for response.

Driver will get the point very quickly.
You will not be recognised.
Problem solved.

Hi Veronika,

I think you will be a convincing 大姐大! LOL!

Thanks. :)

ok here is the deal, this guy is reserving the space for some one else, another car, come back at night and you will see this car in proper parking lot.

AK71 said...

Hi coconut,

You good! You can think of something like this! LOL! ;p

coconut said...

don't look at me ok, i have never done what he did before haha.

but i do given 2 ticket parking fines at the same place and the same time from LTA believe it or not!

maybe this guy is trying to do what is impossible, given 2 tickets at one time, to equal my record.

Anonymous said...

actually have you seen the guy parking that way?

without defending the camry driver, i think we cannot just lay the blame on the person.

reason being that the camry driver could have parked that way because the previous car (or it could have been even a big lorry) in front of him was also intruding into his space.
once the car in the parking space in front of the camry left (which is now occupied by the red van which is parked properly), it appears that the camry driver was in wrong when in fact he had no choice but to park that way in the first place.

AK71 said...

Hi coconut,

That is super lucky! 2 tickets at the same time? Touch wood. ;p

He will not get a ticket because the car park is privatised liao. Sian.

coconut said...

indeed its luck! when i first saw it, i was shock! so as a few of us around, how can that be? four letter words flying all around us.

but after a while, shock and anger quickly turns into pride and joy! no kidding! i pay in full, no complain, cos up until today, i have not heard of such occurance to anyone else!

its an honor i think to myself haha.

AK71 said...

Hi wozhaodaole,

You should see the related post at the end of this blog post. These are just 2 times that I have taken photos.

In recent months, this car appeared and this parking style is unique to it. Perhaps, the driver is the only one lucky enough to always have an obstruction when he was parking because it doesn't seem to affect anyone else.

I don't think so.

Hi coconut,

Your have reached a new level in ZEN. Om Amitabah. LOL! ;p

coconut said...

AK71 said...

Hi coconut,

Did SMOL feel the honor and excitement of being the first person to be told of this online? ;p

coconut said...

i think he is always exited when i told him i had just burn a hole in my pocket.

AK71 said...

Hi coconut,

SMOL is excited by all holy things. Hole in pocket? Sure excited. LOL. ;p

opal said...

Will the car park operator do something about it? Will this mean lost income for the operator?
Instead of fining him, maybe one can wheel lock this car. Haha

AK71 said...

Hi opal,

Unfortunately, the car park operator isn't the most responsive one in Singapore. :(

Wheel clamp the car? I think the chances of someone giving the sides long and deep scratches are higher.

Singapore Man of Leisure said...

AK and coconut,

If it's 36, 24, 36 - I sure get excited one!

It's lude to talk behind people's back you know?

Plucking out darts from my back. So itchy!

AK71 said...

Hi SMOL,

Aiyoh, coconut started it! If I didn't entertain, I would appear rude. I did it under duress. :(

Singapore Man of Leisure said...

Aiyoh,

Your singlish fail. It's lude; not rude.

Repeat after me:

Looo wood.

OK, now join the 2 words.

You've got it! Clever boy!

AK71 said...

Hi SMOL,

I actually thought you had a typo the first time. LOL!

Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh. So lude of me to laugh. :(
